How do I trigger a panic with the IQ Fob?
Press and hold Lock + Unlock together for about 3 seconds. Your panel will follow the programmed panic response (e.g., police). We’ll test this with you at installation.
What’s the typical range?
Up to ~100 feet in open air. Actual range varies with construction, interference, and panel placement.
Which battery does it use and how long does it last?
A CR2032 3 V coin cell. Expect roughly 4–6 years under normal use; your panel/app will alert for low battery.
Is the IQ Fob encrypted?
Yes—IQ Fob-S uses S-Line encryption on compatible IQ Panels, while still working with legacy 319.5 MHz systems (unencrypted).
Can I set the Lock button for Stay vs Away?
